Creating an online store is one of the most effective ways to expand your business, reach new customers, and automate your sales. Tekmatix makes it simple to set up a full e-commerce experience from creating products to fulfilling orders.
This guide breaks the process into clear steps and includes a practical example to help you see how everything works in a real scenario.
An online store is a digital storefront where customers can browse, select, and purchase products or services from any device. Unlike a physical shop, an online store operates 24/7 and allows you to sell globally with ease.
Your products can be accessed by customers around the world.
Customers can buy anytime, without waiting for business hours.
Online shops eliminate the need for physical overhead, saving money.
Checkout, payment processing, and order confirmations run automatically.
Step-by-Step: How to Build Your Tekmatix Online Store
Step 1: Create and Configure Your Products
Navigate to Payments → Products to begin adding items to your store.

You can set up:
Product names and descriptions
Rich text formatting (lists, bold, italics, alignment, tables)
Multiple images and videos
Product pricing
Variant options (size, color, material, etc.)
Be sure to turn on the Show in Online Store toggle to make each product visible to customers.

Rich text descriptions automatically appear on the product detail page.
You can upload multiple images or videos for visual impact.
Variants allow customers to choose options with customized pricing.

You can add an online store to an existing Tekmatix website or build a new one.
Inside the website builder, click the + icon and add the Online Store element.

Tekmatix automatically generates five essential store pages:
Products List Page – Displays all available products.
Product Details Page – Shows full descriptions, images, videos, and variants.
Cart Page – Summarizes items before checkout.
Checkout Page – Collects customer information and processes payments.
Thank You Page – Displays order confirmation after checkout.
All elements can be customized using General and Advanced settings to match your website’s brand style.

Use these sections to manage your store activity:
Payments → Orders – View all incoming orders

Payments → Transactions – Review payments received and issue refunds

Refunds can be processed directly inside the Transactions panel.
Each new order begins in the Unfulfilled state.
You can:
Mark the order as Fulfilled
Add tracking numbers
Select a shipping provider
Add a tracking URL
Tracking information is stored in the order details and can be sent to customers automatically.

Only one-time products appear in the online store. Recurring items can still be sold via funnels and order forms.
You choose which products appear by toggling them on individually.
Orders and payments are found under Payments → Orders/Transactions.
FAQ content on any store page can be edited by clicking the FAQ element inside the page builder.
Multiple stores can be created within the same location.
Stores can be created only inside websites, not funnels.
