Quick Filters in Tekmatix make it easier than ever to sort and analyze your data without editing your dashboards or widgets every time. With just a few clicks, you can focus on the exact insights that matter — whether it’s sales performance, active leads, or recent campaigns.
Instead of manually changing widget filters, Quick Filters give you a dynamic and time-saving way to view data in real time.
Quick Filters are perfect for teams that review dashboards regularly. They help you:
Instantly narrow down data (no editing required).
Empower team members to apply their own filters during meetings.
Avoid data clutter by showing only what’s relevant.
Keep your widgets consistent while personalizing your view.
Whether you're tracking leads, revenue, or campaign results, Quick Filters streamline reporting — helping you make faster, data-driven decisions.
Go to the dashboard where you want to add Quick Filters.
(Example: Sales Overview, Marketing Insights, or Support Performance)
At the top of your dashboard, click the Quick Filters button.
Click + Add Quick Filters.
A sidebar will appear showing available filters categorized by data source.
Use the search bar to find specific filters (e.g., Contact, Appointment, Tag).

Check the boxes next to the filters you want to add.
Click Add to proceed.

💡 Pro Tip: Add only the filters your team uses often — like Date Range, Lead Source, or Appointment Status.
Review your selected filters.
Add a short description (optional) to help your team understand what each filter does.
Click Apply to finalize your setup.

Quick Filters are unique per dashboard — set them up separately for each one.
Only users with edit access can add Quick Filters.
View-only users can use filters but can’t modify them.
Go to the dashboard that already has Quick Filters configured.

Use the Quick Filter bar to select and apply the desired filters.
Adjust filter options (e.g., Date, Status, Owner) to refine your data view.

Your dashboard widgets will automatically update to show only the data matching your filters.
🧠 Note: Filters apply only to widgets using the same data source.
Example: A “Contact Tag” filter affects only widgets connected to Contact data.
Filters apply only to your current browser session.
If you revisit the dashboard later in the same session, your selected filters will remain.
Your filters won’t affect what other team members see.
Quick Filters and widget filters work together using AND logic.
This means they combine — they don’t override each other.
Example:
Widget filter: Appointment Status = Confirmed
Quick filter: Appointment Status = Cancelled
Result → No data (because both can’t be true at once).
Best Practice:
Use Quick Filters for flexible, high-level filtering (team-wide).
Use widget filters for fixed, widget-specific views.
Let’s say Sophie, a Marketing Manager, wants to see how her campaigns performed in the last quarter.
Here’s how she uses Quick Filters:
She opens the “Marketing Performance” dashboard.
Clicks Quick Filters and adds:
Date Range: Last 3 Months
Campaign Source: Facebook Ads
Applies the filters to instantly view only campaigns from Facebook run in Q3.
The dashboard automatically updates — showing engagement metrics and conversions relevant to her campaigns.
In just a few clicks, Sophie gets the exact insights she needs without changing any widget settings.
✅ Quick Filters make dashboards dynamic and collaborative.
✅ Save time by switching data views without editing widgets.
✅ Perfect for teams reviewing different metrics within the same dashboard.
