If your SMS delivery suddenly slows down, stops, or you receive warnings about sending limits or violations, the SMS Restriction History feature in Tekmatix helps you get clarity on what happened — and how to fix it.
This guide explains how to access your SMS restriction logs, interpret them, and respond appropriately to maintain high deliverability and compliance with telecom standards.
Tekmatix enforces SMS sending policies to help users comply with carrier regulations and ensure message deliverability. If your account violates daily or weekly thresholds or triggers high opt-out or spam complaint rates, restrictions may be applied.
Now you can view a complete log of these restrictions directly inside your Tekmatix account.
Follow these steps to access this feature:
Go to Settings in your Tekmatix sub-account.
Click on Phone Numbers.
Go to the Advanced Settings tab.
Scroll to Restriction History.
Here, you’ll see a timeline of:
Daily/weekly send limit violations
Triggered warnings due to error codes (like 30007 for carrier filtering)
Temporary restrictions due to high opt-out or spam rates
Case:
Let’s say your real estate agency runs a new SMS campaign and notices a sudden stop in outgoing messages.
You navigate to Location > Settings > Phone Numbers > Advanced Settings > Restriction History, and find a note saying:
“Temporary restriction applied on July 10 due to 30007 error spike (carrier filtering) and 3.4% opt-out rate.”
Armed with this information, you:
Pause the campaign
Revise the message content to reduce trigger keywords
Clean your list for inactive or non-consenting contacts
Resume messaging after a 24-hour window with adjusted volume
This quick intervention helps avoid permanent account issues and improves future deliverability.
Keeping your SMS deliverability strong means staying informed and compliant. The SMS Restriction History feature in Tekmatix helps you take control of your SMS performance and quickly address potential issues before they escalate.
Whether you're managing one location or many, this feature is your key to smoother operations, fewer disruptions, and better message outcomes.
