How to Set Up, Send & Automate Contracts with Payment in Tekmatix

Yes—you can absolutely create, send, track, and automate contracts inside Tekmatix. Even better? You can attach products, collect payments, and include multiple signers, all in one seamless workflow.

Here’s your step-by-step guide to making it all happen inside Tekmatix:

✅ Step 1: Access Contracts & Documents

Go to Payments > Documents & Contracts

You’ll see two tabs:

All Documents & Contracts – where you can track status (draft, sent, signed, paid, etc.)

Templates – where you store reusable templates

✅ Step 2: Create or Upload a Template

Click New Template

You can:

Start from scratch using the drag-and-drop builder

OR upload an existing PDF contract and add fillable fields

Add Elements:

Text, images, video, tables

Product list (for quoting or invoicing)

Signature, date, initials, checkboxes

Custom fields like name, email, business name

✅ Step 3: Add Payment & Setup Fees

For subscriptions, Tekmatix allows a separate setup fee field (only visible for recurring products)

One-time products won’t show this option

Choose whether the payment is required at signing, or invoice them after

✅ Step 4: Assign Signers & Signing Order

Add one or multiple signers

Set signing order if needed (e.g. Husband signs first, Wife second)

✅ Step 5: Email Setup & Delivery

Choose or edit the email template sent with the contract

Add your from name, from email, subject, and logo

You can create your own email templates in the Marketing > Email Templates section

Once sent, clients get a professional branded email with a link to sign the contract

✅ Step 6: Track Status

Head back to All Documents & Contracts to track:

Drafts

Waiting for Others

Completed & Signed

Payment status (if applicable)

You’ll receive notifications when contracts are signed, and your client receives confirmation too.
