Meta has discontinued the Instagram Explore Feed ad placement as part of its Marketing API v26 update.
As a result, Instagram Explore can no longer be selected as an ad placement when creating Meta advertising campaigns inside Tekmatix.
The good news is that there is nothing you need to do.
Existing published campaigns will continue running, while Tekmatix automatically handles the placement change in the background.
The Instagram Explore Feed placement is no longer available as a selectable option when setting up Meta ad campaigns through Tekmatix.
This change has been implemented to keep Tekmatix advertising tools aligned with Meta's latest Marketing API requirements.

For Tekmatix users, this means:
Instagram Explore Feed will no longer appear as an available ad placement
Existing published campaigns can continue running
Draft campaigns will automatically have the Explore placement removed
No errors or campaign failures should occur as a result of the transition
Ad delivery can continue through other eligible Meta placements
If you already have a published Meta campaign that previously included the Instagram Explore placement, you do not need to edit or rebuild it.
Your existing campaign will remain live.
Meta will automatically manage delivery using the placements that remain eligible for your campaign.
This means the change should happen quietly in the background without disrupting your advertising.
If you have an unpublished or draft Meta advertising campaign that previously included Instagram Explore, Tekmatix will automatically remove that placement when the ad set is saved.
You can then continue configuring and publishing your campaign using the remaining available Meta placements.
There is no need to manually remove Instagram Explore yourself.
No.
This is an automatic platform update and does not require any action from Tekmatix users.
Your existing campaign creation process remains largely the same. You simply will no longer see Instagram Explore Feed listed as an available placement when configuring new campaigns.
Other eligible Meta advertising placements remain available as normal.
This change originates from Meta, rather than Tekmatix.
Meta periodically updates its Marketing API and the advertising options available to third-party platforms.
As part of Marketing API v26, Meta has deprecated the Instagram Explore Feed placement.
Tekmatix has been updated accordingly so your advertising tools remain compatible with Meta's current requirements.
Although this is a relatively small change to the campaign creation interface, handling the transition automatically is important.
You do not need to worry about published campaigns suddenly being paused, unpublished or failing because they previously included Instagram Explore.
Tekmatix automatically handles the placement change, removing the need to find and update individual campaigns yourself.
Removing a placement that Meta no longer supports helps prevent API errors and publishing problems when creating or editing campaigns.
Keeping campaign creation aligned with Meta's latest Marketing API helps ensure your advertising workflows continue operating smoothly as Meta changes its platform.
Keep the following in mind:
The removal of Instagram Explore Feed is a Meta-driven platform change
Existing published campaigns can continue running
Draft campaigns will have the Explore placement removed automatically when saved
Other eligible placements remain available
Existing campaign workflows and advertising templates remain otherwise unchanged
No action is required from Tekmatix users
If you notice that Instagram Explore is no longer available as an ad placement inside Tekmatix, nothing has gone wrong with your account.
Meta has officially discontinued the placement as part of its latest Marketing API update, and Tekmatix has automatically updated the campaign creation experience to accommodate the change.
Your existing campaigns can continue running, new campaigns can use Meta's remaining eligible placements, and there is nothing you need to manually update.
It is one more behind-the-scenes Tekmatix update designed to keep your marketing tools working smoothly as the platforms you connect with continue to evolve.
