This guide walks you through how to add or link PayPal or bank transfer as a payout method—plus a sample scenario so you can see it in action.
A smooth payout process keeps your affiliate program running effectively. With Tekmatix, admins can manage payout methods on behalf of affiliates, and affiliates can set up their own payout preferences right from their portal.

If you're an admin and want to control which payout methods affiliates can use, follow these steps:
Go to Affiliate Manager > Settings
Select Affiliate Portal Settings > Configure Payout Methods
Check the methods you want to enable (PayPal, Bank Transfer)
Click Save.
This ensures a consistent experience for all affiliates.
Navigate to Affiliate Manager > Affiliates
Click on the name of the affiliate you want to update.
Scroll to find the "Payout Methods" tab on the affiliate’s profile.
Click “Add Payout Method.”
Choose either PayPal or Bank Transfer:
For PayPal: Enter the affiliate's valid PayPal email address.
For Bank Transfer: Choose the country and fill in the required banking details.
Click “Done” to save the payout method.
You can add multiple methods and mark one as Primary.
Use the magic login link provided to access your portal.
Inside the portal, open the “Payout Methods” section.
PayPal: Add your correct PayPal email address.
Bank Transfer: Select your country and input the necessary banking details.
Click “Done” to save your payout method.
⚠️ Important Note: PayPal does not support automatic account validation via API, so double-check that your email address is correct to avoid payout delays.
Let’s say you're running a digital course platform using Tekmatix. You’ve onboarded 5 new affiliates for your latest product launch. Instead of waiting for them to manually add payout details, your admin team adds PayPal emails for all five to ensure timely commissions after your launch.
Later, one affiliate logs in and adds a bank account as a backup, setting it as their primary method.
