1. Meeting Room Mode

Step-by-Step Guide: Hosting a Go Live Session

Step 1: Open the Group and Start a Go Live Post

  1. Go to Courses & Memberships in your account

  2. Click the Communities tab → Groups

  3. Open the desired group → click Login

  4. Click the Go Live button (red video-camera icon) near the posting tab

Step 2: Fill Out Post Details

  • Enter the Title and Description

  • In the Settings, choose whether to:

    • Keep livestream as post → save recording automatically

    • Notify members you are going live → in-app + push notifications

  • Choose ChannelChoose where to post the stream

  • Schedule → default is Now

Step 3: Choose Video Source

Option 1 – Meeting Room:

  1. Select Meeting Room, click Go Live

  2. Allow browser access to camera/microphone

  3. Use host controls: mute/unmute, grant/revoke mic/camera/screen share, remove participants

  4. Enable chat, reactions, and hand-raising

  5. Click End session → confirm to finish

  6. Post appears in channel with recording processing

  7. Post authors and group admins can now download recordings directly, making it simpler to save and share session replays.

Option 2 – Streaming Software (RTMP. from Zoom/OBS/StreamYard):

  1. Select Streaming Software, copy Server URL & Stream Key

  2. Paste into your encoder (OBS/Zoom/StreamYard) → start broadcast

  3. Back in Tekmatix, click Go Live → stream appears in community
