How to Hide Email Elements on Mobile View

In this blog, we will look at how you can turn off some elements inside the email builder for Mobile view. Mobile screens have limited space, so removing unnecessary elements can improve clarity and readability. Hiding less important content helps highlight critical information, which makes it easier for users to engage with your message. Tekmatix provides you the ability to hide specific email elements in the mobile view. Let’s dive into the details.

Navigating to the Email Builder

Firstly you need to log in to your Tekmatix Account

1. Go to the Marketing & Emails  tab on the left

2. From the top menu bar go to Emails 

3. Select Email Builder from drop down menu

4. Now choose the specific email you want to edit and click on Edit to open the email editor.

Hiding Email Elements

You can find the specific element you want to hide on mobile by Scrolling through the email template, the element can be a text, a button or an image.

1. Hover over the email element that you want to hide.

2. You’ll see a few icons including the Desktop and Mobile icon.

3. Click on the mobile icon and this element will be hidden on the mobile view and only be visible on desktop.

4. Save the email template.

5. Use the preview function to see how your email looks on both desktop and mobile views.

   

   You can send a test email to yourself to ensure that everything appears as desired on the mobile screen. Hiding email elements on mobile view helps enhance users' experience by focusing  on the content that matters most to your audience.
