If you are sending emails, you firstly MUST ensure that you are sending them compliantly with an UNSUBSCRIBE link in them, so that your contacts can choose to remove themselves from your marketing campaigns.
This is the LAW, so it’s very important that you have this in place.
You ALO want to make sure that your emails are making you SALES.
If you are not making income form them, then you are probably missing this super simple, but highly efficient sales element that is set-and-forget in your master email template.
Finally, you don’t want to have to re-build and reformat your email every time you send one out.
This is why you need a master email template.
Instead of designing every email from scratch, a well-structured master template allows you to focus on your message while keeping your brand identity and some of your email sending compliance in place.
Here’s your step-by-step guide to setting up a fully branded, call-to-action-packed, semi-compliant* email template inside Tekmatix.

Navigate to Marketing & Emails
Log into Tekmatix and go to the Marketing & Emails section.
Click on Email Builder.
Create a New Email Template
Inside the Email Builder, select the Templates section.
Click on New to create a new template.
Choose a Layout
Select Blank Template (for full customization).
Use the Simple Drag-and-Drop Builder for an easy-to-design template.
We’ve done it for you!
Alternatively - inside your email builder, search for ‘MASTER’ and you will find a master template that we have drafted for you to simply edit.
Now, let’s structure the email with the essential elements.
Add a Text Section
Drag and drop a text block into the email.
This will be the placeholder for your main content.
Add an Image (Logo) Section
Drag and drop an image block at the top of the email.
Click on the image placeholder to upload your logo.
Adjust the size to fit well within the email structure.
Add a Footer with an Unsubscribe Link
Drag and drop a footer section to the bottom of the email.
This is legally required to include a physical business address and an unsubscribe link.
To ensure your emails meet legal requirements (such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM laws), Tekmatix allows you to automatically pull in your business information.
Insert Your Contact Information
Add your email address and physical business address using Custom Values:
Click on Custom Values > Account Address Line 1
Add City, State, and Postal Code using Custom Fields
These fields will automatically pull the correct data from your Business Profile settings in Tekmatix.
Customise the Unsubscribe Link
Make the "Unsubscribe from this list" text more noticeable.
Increase the font size and bold it.
Center-align it and change the text color (e.g., white) for better visibility.
Enhance the Footer Design
Add a background color (e.g., dark purple).
Update the copyright year dynamically by inserting the custom field.
To ensure each email feels personal:
Start with a Personalized Greeting
Type Hi {{contact.first_name}} to automatically insert the recipient’s first name.
If their name isn’t available, set a fallback like Hi there!.
At the bottom of your emails, always include a CTA that directs your audience to take action.
Create a CTA Block
Drag a new Text Section below the email content.
Add a question that connects with your audience’s needs. Example:
"Are you still thinking about [RESULT YOU HELP WITH], {{contact.first_name}}?"
"If so, here are all the ways I can help you:"
List 3-5 services you offer as bullet points with clickable links, such as:
Book a Coaching Call → [Insert your scheduling link]
Join My Academy → [Insert your membership link]
Enroll in My Course → [Insert your course link]
Add a Primary CTA Button
Drag in a Button Element.
Label it with a strong CTA (e.g., "Start Here", "Book a Call", "Join Now").
Click on Actions > Send to URL and enter your main offer link.
Customise the Button Design
Change the button color to match your brand.
Optionally, add a border around the button for emphasis.
Name the Template Clearly
Change the subject line at the top to "Master Email Template".
Make the name bold and clear.
Set Default Sender Information
Click the Settings (three dots menu) in the top right corner.
Ensure that:
From Name is set to your business name.
From Email is set to your official email address (linked to your sending domain).
This ensures consistency across all emails sent from this template.
Save the Template
Click Save Template.
Now that your master template is ready, you can use it every time you send a new email.
Go to Email Builder > Templates
Find Your "Master Email Template"
Click on the Three Dots > Clone
Edit the Content for Your New Email
Send or Schedule Your Email!
