Every business tracks data differently. Some may need to track industry type, membership level, or renewal dates — while others may want to highlight customer birthdays or lead sources. With Tekmatix’s Custom Fields in Dashboards and Reports, you can now display the exact data you need right inside your widgets.
This means you no longer need to export data or flip between tools. Instead, your most important information lives in one place — tailored to how your business operates.
Go to your Dashboard or Custom Report in Tekmatix.
Click Edit to start customizing.

Click Add Widget.
Choose either a Contacts Table or an Opportunities Table widget.

Open the Select Columns for the widget.
You’ll now see all available Custom Fields.
Check the fields you want to display (e.g., Industry, Lead Source, Renewal Date, or Birthdate).

Click Apply Columns to save your changes.
Your selected custom fields will now appear as columns in the table.
Imagine you run a membership-based fitness studio.
Without Custom Fields: You only see standard data like Name, Email, and Phone Number in your dashboard. To check Membership Renewal Dates or Preferred Trainer, you’d need to open individual records or export data.
With Custom Fields: You add Membership Renewal Date and Preferred Trainer as columns in your dashboard’s Contacts table.
Now at a glance, you can:
✅ See whose membership is about to expire.
✅ Assign trainers quickly for personalized follow-ups.
✅ Run a birthday campaign by adding the Birthdate column and sending special offers.
This saves time, prevents missed opportunities, and helps you personalize customer engagement.
